Improving healthcare in Europe through big data

BigMedilytics will transform Europe’s healthcare sector. This three-year project aims to enhance patient outcomes and increase productivity in the health sector by applying big data technologies to complex datasets while ensuring security and privacy of personal data.

How does BigMedilytics achieve its goal?

The project implements twelve pilot experiences that cover three themes with the greatest impact on the sector. Population Health & Chronic Disease Management and Oncology comprise the 78% of deaths whitin non-commnunicable diseases. The third theme represents operations and equipment cost, covering the 33% of the expenditure in the sector.
