BigMedilytics at ICT 2018: ‘Imagine Digital – Connect Europe’
The BigMedilytics project was presented during the session ‘Impact of the Data-driven AI in business sectors’ within the framework of the event ICT 2018: ‘Imagine Digital – Connect Europe’ that took place in Vienna from the 4th to the 6th of December.
The session was organized by the Big Data Value and Robotics PPP with the aim of discussing the impact of artificial intelligence in the sectors of transport and logistics, health, manufacturing and bio-economy through the four big data lighthouse projects: TransformingTransport, BigMedilytics, BOOST4.0 and DataBio. The BigMedilytics project was introduced by Rob Smeets, from Philips, who highlighted the helpfulness of artificial intelligence to help doctors.
Information about the project was also displayed at the “Big Data Value PPP Village” stand in the exhibition area of the ICT 2018.
ICT 2018: ‘Imagine Digital – Connect Europe’
Organized by the European Commission and the Austrian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the ICT 2018 was focused on the European Union’s priorities in the digital transformation.
This research and innovation event gathered 6,000 registrations from 120 countries, over 100 speakers and more than 130 exhibitors.
